When I right, usually the audience does not play a large role in how I write. The only time the audience influences me is the age of whom I am writing it far. I have never written out of the sheer joy of it, so pretty much of all of my writings are for a class. But other than that, I still enjoy writing. The thing that probably influences me the most is the topic of the paper. Usually if I am writing for a purpose, or a subject that intrests me, I write with alot more depth. If it is a topic that I have no interest in, the paper usually is in less depth. When I right, I like to write mostly about controversial topics because it gives me a chance to speak my mind.
Personally I don't really think I have a certain "style" when I write. All I can say is this, when I do write, I write in proper paragraph form with good grammar and all of that good stuff.

Eric,
I think it's interesting that you like to write about controversial topics. I think speaking your mind is one of the greatest uses for the written word. I hope that we get a chance to do some writing in that tradition this semester. On an aside, I disagree with one thing you said. I believe you do have a style in your writing, as everyone does, just like your manner of speaking. It all comes out much the same way, some voices are just more defined and prominent than others.
